The COVID-19 pandemic has forced colleges and educators to think on their feet and drastically alter their practices. Moving courses online and practicing social distancing are only some of the changes being made. A new article posted on the UNC College of Arts and Sciences website highlights some of the ways faculty are adjusting their courses in light of the pandemic, and highlights Dr. Ronit Freeman’s Introduction to Convergent Engineering course.
As the article explains, Dr. Freeman has shifted the course content, challenging her students to leverage techniques and thinking across multiple disciplines in order to think about – and contribute to – pandemic-related technologies that will be needed in the coming weeks and months.
