A new paper featuring work by Ronit Freeman has been picked for Editor’s Choice in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Titled “Hierarchical assembly of DNA origami nanostructures using coiled-coil peptides”, this paper demonstrates the successful merging of two distinct self-assembly modes to create hybrid bionanomaterials, which is expected to have a range of potential applications in the future.
