We are excited to announce that Ronit Freeman has been recognized this year as a faculty member that has exhibited outstanding graduate student mentorship.

Dr. Freeman has led and continues to lead her students through their journeys into the field of science while instilling integrity, thoroughness, and professionalism.  

Since 2006, the Carolina Women’s Leadership Council has sponsored the Faculty Mentoring Awards to recognize outstanding faculty members who go the extra mile to guide, mentor and teach.  The Council, in partnership with the Center for Faculty Excellence and Office of the Provost, invites nominations for outstanding faculty mentors across the University.
